San Miguel de Allende is arguably the prettiest town in Mexico, and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage of Humanity site. It is famous for its intense cultural and artistic life, as well as for its striking architecture which has inherited a great deal of pre-Hispanic culture, without putting aside its roots. Its stunning landscape of mountains, canyons, valleys, and trails will fascinate you. Its cuisine is rich in flavour and prepared based on a fusion of modern and traditional Mexican recipes. You will be able to enjoy narrow cobblestone streets, leafy courtyards, rooftop terraces, restored colonial mansions, and so much more!

FLIGHTS 

There are no direct flights to San Miguel De Allende, but here are 3 ways to get there:

1.Querétaro (QRO), 1 hour away 
2. Mexico City (MEX), 3½ hours away
3. Guanajuato / Léon (BJX), 1½ hours away

We recommend flying into Querétaro, unless you're planning to spend some time in Mexico City. Transportation can be booked from any of the 3 airports above to San Miguel De Allende. Our wedding planner, Beatriz, would be more than happy to help you. Please email Beatriz and reference our wedding.

Once you are in San Miguel, everything is within walking distance, taxis are also available if needed.

 

WEATHER 

San Miguel is a year-round destination with over 320 days of sunshine. The weather can be very hot during the day, but much cooler at night. Bring a light jacket to put on over your short sleeves.
